Parallel is building the most intelligent way to query the web, with and for AIs.  We are developing powerful retrieval, ranking, and reasoning systems to enable the next wave of agents, AI-native apps, human + AI workflows that require large-scale web intelligence. We’ve raised $30M in funding by Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital, Index Ventures (and many others).

As our team grows, we're looking to bring on an engineer to scale our infrastructure to support our expanding customer base and growing web-scale infrastructure demands.

In this role, you will:

• Automate key engineering processes that enhance the reliability and operability of large-scale distributed systems.

• Own infrastructure projects, ensuring cross-functional alignment on timelines, priorities, and business goals. 

• Manage CI/CD pipelines to improve team efficiency and ensure our deployments are seamless.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and application performance issues.

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud resources for high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proficiency with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
