Please also let us know your thoughts on how you would approach the subject. Please note that most of your work will be done at our site in Liljeholmen, Stockholm.
While we aim to support all proposed thesis subjects, we may need to change or cancel a project due to unexpected circumstances.
Master thesis nr 11. Evaluating Large Language Models for Optimized AI Solutions
As advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) accelerate, Large Language Models (LLMs) are unlocking new capabilities in e.g. automation, customer support, and decision-making.
At ASSA ABLOY, we are interested in analysing the performance potential of these models across various applications.
This Master's thesis project aims to conduct a detailed performance evaluation of selected LLMs to determine their suitability for ASSA ABLOY’s operational needs. The focus will be on: Assessing model accuracy across key tasks such as text summarization, information retrieval, and conversational support, measuring response time and computational efficiency to gauge model scalability for high-volume use cases, and comparing models to identify the optimal trade-offs between performance metrics like accuracy and speed.
This position is ideal for two students with a background in machine learning, computational efficiency, and performance benchmarking.
The candidate should be adept at quantitative analysis and excited to contribute to high-impact AI performance projects.
