The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is responsible for shaping and delivering an integrated and consistent approach to the Group’s data, analytics, and data science capability.

We help our business partners within the group extract value out of their data better and faster to ensure they can meet and predict the ever-changing needs of our customers.


Do work that matters

In this newly created role as the Data Science Practice Talent & People Experience Manager, you will support strategic initiatives across high-profile AI business areas, including the Data Science Practice and broader Decision Science. You will help deliver an engaging people experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to promotions and talent development, to build the AI talent of the future.

In this capacity, you will support the Data Science Practice Talent & People Experience Lead, playing a pivotal role in executing AI talent-based initiatives across multiple areas, creatively driving proactive Group-wide engagement, establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships at all levels, and supporting high-profile AI initiatives.

On any given day, you will:

  • Contribute to creating and delivering people and talent strategies across a portfolio of AI business areas, as well as delivering and supporting Technology-wide or CBA Group-wide initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with members of the AI domain and Data, Analytics, Data Science Practice leadership teams to create and implement programs that will foster exceptional people experiences such as intern and graduate programs, job architecture, progression program, centralised recruitment strategy, strategic workforce planning and more.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Experience across Organisation Development discipline

  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience in overseeing complex projects, particularly in a technical environment

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with a focus on talent development.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and an ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, and stakeholders across all levels to deliver strong outcomes.

  • A learning mindset and passion for innovative initiatives focused on improving the lived experiences of our customers, communities, and people.

  • Background in organisational psychology with experience in employee experience, organisational culture, engagement, transformation or talent development (highly advantageous)

  • Experience in AI, data science, or analytics (highly advantageous).

  • Change management and employee engagement experience (desirable).
