What you are going to do:

• Lead three sub-teams: Data Office, Advanced Analytics & AI, and Data Visualization, consisting of 15+ data professionals, and enable them to achieve top-tier outcomes within data innovation
• Develop and execute forward-thinking Data Management and AI strategies for the Life & Pensions business unit. Identifying emerging trends and technologies, driving innovation, and positioning the organization as a leader in the field
• Align and prioritize data-related innovations, projects, and initiatives to improve data analytics and AI processes

Your main responsibilities are:

• Responsible for and expert in the field of Data Management & AI for the entire Life & Pensions organization
• Responsible for data governance ensuring consultation with all parties involved and decision making on data related topics
• Responsible for AI related projects, initiatives and awareness through chairing the AI Steering Committee
• Responsible for increasing data literacy within the organization
• Responsible for the HR cycle of the data professionals, including hiring, training, performance management, and career development, to ensure a high-performing and motivated team

Who you are

• You are an inspiring leader who enables teams to excel
• You have at least 5 years of experience within the Data Governance & Data Management domain, of which at least 2 years in a managerial position

• You have affinity with data science, data visualization, data analytics, data management (DAMA-DMBOK) and/or data solutions and experience with data activities around a centralized data platform

• Continuously improving the services of your team is your top priority
• You contribute to good cooperation in the MT and you are strong in stakeholder management. You know how to communicate clear expectations to the team and coach employees in their roles and careers

• University working and thinking level

Who you will work with

As part of the NN Life & Pensions organisation you will work closely with your fellow managers in the IT Services Management Team and the business Management teams. Additionally, you will be part of several cross-BU functional steering groups and program teams. The atmosphere in the team is informal and focused on achieving success together.
