Job Summary:
As our Manager, Business Development, Americas at AutogenAI, you will take the lead in driving the success of our high-caliber BDR team. You will coach, mentor, and inspire your team, fostering a high-performance culture and implementing strategies to maximize prospecting success, lead generation, and pipeline growth. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in our scale-up journey, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership to exceed ambitious revenue and performance targets. This position requires a passionate, results-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Driving Team Performance: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BDR team to consistently meet and exceed lead generation and qualification targets, ensuring a strong pipeline for the sales team.
- Sales Development Strategy: Design and implement strategic outbound prospecting initiatives, leveraging cold calling, email, social media, and ABM tactics to identify, qualify, and engage potential customers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to refine target account strategies, align messaging, and optimize the lead handoff process.
- Coaching & Training: Conduct regular 1:1s, call coaching, and team training to enhance prospecting techniques, messaging, and sales development best practices.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Recruit, onboard, and retain top BDR talent, fostering a growth-oriented and results-driven culture.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure effective use of CRM and sales engagement tools to track and manage leads, pipeline activities, and outreach effectiveness.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt outreach strategies for maximum impact.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Leadership Expertise: Proven success in managing and mentoring BDR teams, with a strong ability to drive team growth and performance in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or tech environment.

Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years in a sales/business development leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing SaaS or tech environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of business development, outbound prospecting, and pipeline-building strategies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with sales engagement tools like Salesloft, Outreach, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Operational Excellence: Committed to achieving monthly performance metrics and continuously optimizing team workflows.
- Willingness to Travel: Some travel may be required for team-building, training, and industry events.
