JOB SUMMARY:
Natera is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead a team of Business Analysts specializing in AI and Automation. The Manager, AI & Automation role is a leadership position aligned to the Commercial Operations and Customer Experience teams within Natera. This individual will be responsible for identifying areas that would benefit from AI and Automation, prioritizing projects and resources for the team, and developing the AI and Automation improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, develop, and manage a small, yet high-performing and engaged team. Set objectives, provide direction, and oversee remote employees while fostering a culture of coaching, development, and employee engagement.
Process Optimization & Automation: Identify workflow gaps and opportunities for automation and AI-driven improvements. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions while maintaining documentation and ensuring process efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Innovation: Act as a trusted advisor, working with internal teams to identify automation opportunities. Lead team initiatives, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with business goals. Make informed decisions with a strong business acumen. Ability to collaborate across the organization, including with business stakeholders and others working in the AI and automation space is key to success.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze department performance, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize operations, customer experience, and service delivery.
Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical support, troubleshooting automation solutions, and mentoring team members on best practices.
Strategic Decision-Making & Communication: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and AI and automation strategies while fostering stakeholder buy-in and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required
Advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
Minimum of 4 years of business analyst, operations manager, or like role
Experience working on or with Engineering teams is a plus
Experience using AI tools such as ML, LLM or GenAI, RPA tools, or workflow automation platforms, delivering complex AL/ML and analytics workloads
Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software engineering best practices
Experience in the healthcare industry (payer, provider, healthcare systems, biotech, etc…) preferred
A strong grasp of various concepts, tools, features, and functions, coupled with a passion for teaching their applications and benefits across different approaches.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong people management skills and complex project management skills. Able to lead team across a wide variety of initiatives and applications
Proven track record of success in defining and achieving goals
Exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, and results oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically
Have a strong desire to work in a fast paced environment and must work independently with an internal drive to be successful
Ability to lead and rally peers
Strong team player with desire to celebrate all wins across the organization
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers
Effective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize
Technologically proficient with a strong enthusiasm for cutting-edge and high-quality digital products.
Experienced in gathering requirements, stakeholder management, developing use cases and user stories

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
