Drive Growth. Close Strategic Deals. Elevate Global Brands

You will own and grow a portfolio of key enterprise customers across the Nordic region. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role focused on both expanding existing relationships and landing new, strategic logos. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving value by aligning customer challenges with our cutting-edge platform.

As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Acquiring new customers. Identify and close new logo opportunities that align with our ideal customer profile.
  • Growing existing accounts. Drive account expansion by identifying whitespace, upselling and cross-selling across Akamai's portfolio.
  • Owning the sales cycle. From pipeline generation to close and renewal.
  • Forecasting & reporting. Maintain an accurate and healthy pipeline, deliver reliable monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Working with integrated cross-functional teams and partners ensuring your customers realise the value of their Akamai services.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant sales experience working with large enterprise customers in the Nordic market.
  • Have proven experience selling enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Have a true hunter's mentality, with a track record of acquiring and growing major accounts.
  • Have experience engaging with C-level/senior stakeholders in large enterprises and deep understanding of strategic account management.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cybersecurity or willingness to learn.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills, speak Swedish and fluency in English.
