As a MLE on the Applications team, you will primarily be focused on the models, metrics, pipelines, systems, and services that power and deliver excellence via our SaaS "User Acquisition" product.
This role involves a lot of collaboration with the Product org. While we are currently at market, we are not shying away from big bets in this space.
A good amount of "wearing your Product hat" is expected, as well as ability to flex into some other functions as needed - we are a quickly growing startup after all.
What it takes to succeed in this role:
AdTech experience and product intuition for the space
Understanding enough about machine learning to be dangerous but not necessarily published in field
Worked on and can speak to at least some of embedding drift, CTR modeling, sequence modeling, creating user embeddings, etc.
Skill and attitude wise, can quickly contribute to things such as Airflow, Bazel (build systems, really), CI/CD, ScalaSpark, PySpark as needed. Not everybody is going to be a rockstar on all of these, but we need people who will look at it and see opportunity and a path to (first) PR, versus a "not my job".
Good product sense, has opinions on what we should and shouldn’t be doing both in chasing product-market fit and on the implementation side.

We prioritize attitude, culture, and general (technical) fit over fitting perfectly into one of our job descriptions. We are well-funded and opportunistic in hiring. Please don’t hesitate to apply if our mission and work resonates with you, and you feel you can help drive our products forward.
