About the role

Are you a Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for bridging technical expertise and business acumen? Do you thrive in building scalable, reliable software and infrastructure? Responsibilities

  • Responsible for mining and analyzing vast amounts of data on NewsBreak to guide and optimize product strategies for the in-house advertising platform.
  • Enhance the relevance, user experience, and delivery effectiveness of online ads through technical means to maximize monetization of traffic.
  • Research issues related to retrieving, ranking, and optimization in digital advertising and design solutions to solve them in practice.
  • Design and optimize various models within the ad system, including but not limited to CTR and CVR models, to better serve advertisers’ performance goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in development, with in-depth knowledge of machine learning technologies (Recommendation System/Advertising Algorithm/NLP/CV), with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to working on advertising systems
  • Proven experience in optimizing ad performance by using mature models and new technologies
  • A strong passion for emerging technologies and a proven track record in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills are highly valued.
  • Resilience and determination to elevate our business to new heights.
