Our mission is to enable to deliver industry-winning machine learning solutions to power Micron’s dominance in the highly competitive memory solutions market. Qualified applicants will have experience in a variety of data and cloud technologies and have extensive practice modeling data, querying, and deploying scalable pipelines to execute machine learning models. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and expert users to build and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions that drive value and insight from Micron’s manufacturing processes and systems.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Data Analysis and Modeling
Analyze existing Micron data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can enhance machine learning model development.
Design, implement, and iterate on machine learning models to address specific business challenges and enhance product functionality.
Build knowledge by keeping up with latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), integrating new techniques and technologies into our MLOPS development process.
Data infrastructure
Build and maintain Data/Solution Pipeline Engineering to ensure a robust and scalable data infrastructure that supports the training and deployment of machine learning models.
Collaborate on data preprocessing and feature engineering to enhance the quality of input data for machine learning models.
Design and optimize data structures in data management systems (Cloud platforms - Snowflake, GCP, Azure) to enable AI/ML solutions.
Model Deployment and Monitoring
Build custom software components and analytics applications.
Create/Maintain CI/CD pipelines of machine learning solutions in the cloud environment.
Implement strategies for deploying machine learning models into production environments.
Responsible for selecting best model to meet both model performance and minimize compute costs.
Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the performance of deployed models and facilitate continuous improvement.
Generative AI Integration Strategy
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to find opportunities for integrating machine learning and Generative artificial intelligence capabilities into Project solutions/platform.
Collaborate with the Product team to craft a Tactical roadmap for the adoption of machine learning technologies, paradigms & frameworks following standard methodologies.
Communication
Work in a technical team through development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Convey findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical customers in a clear and accessible manner.
Education Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or a field closely related to AI and ML. Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in building and executing end-to-end ML systems automating training, testing, and deploying Machine Learning models in cloud platforms.
2+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
Solid understanding of prediction (regression) and classification algorithms and familiarity with deep learning, reinforcement learning and generative AI.
Strong programming skills in one of the following, Python or Java
Experience developing Machine Learning or Artifical Intelligence solutions with either Python, AWS, AZURE, GCP
Experience using Docker, Kubernetes and containerization.
Experience using ETL to develop pipelines (Airflow/Kubeflow/Dataflow)
Intermediate proficiency with writing and understanding SQL.
Familiarity with Data architecture (data structures, data schemas, etc.).
Outstanding analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral, and written
Ability to prioritize and meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms
Demonstrated ability to study and transform data science prototypes into production solutions.
Understanding of Prompt Engineering, NLP, RAG Fine-Tuning using one or more of Langchain, DsPy, Semantic Kernel, Tensorflow, and Pytorch.
Knowledge of computer vision and/or signal processing including techniques for classification and feature extraction
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
2+ years of strong working knowledge of databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery)
2+ years building scalable ETL pipelines with big data processing and/or developing applications and data sources.
