[What you will be working on]
In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to help you remain relevant in your profession and to evolving changes in industry, and maintain strong linkages with industry and schools. You will also have the opportunity to have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis to update your skills, knowledge and practices of your profession.
Your primary teaching role to deliver curriculum in the areas of Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Intelligent Automation. You will also provide administrative and project management support for the various part-time courses under the Continuing Training Department, including intake activities, correspondence with various stakeholders on course and funding matters, handling of student information, compile and analyse intake information.
[What we are looking for]
You should have relevant training in Computer Science or related fields, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in the respective field with good knowledge and experience in Machine Learning algorithms, Deep Neural Network and reinforcement learning.
You should also experience and interest in handling course administration and outreach publicity matters. You should be an independent worker with strong analytical, and communication skills, and the ability to work well in teams. Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheets are required. Familiarity with graphics software, e-learning technology and payroll systems will be an advantage.
Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters.
