Junior Technical Project Manager (AI Center)
Job Description
The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, particularly those involving advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). They will assist in managing project requirements, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
In addition, the Junior Technical Project Manager will be involved in the pre-award phase of national and international funding programs, including grant proposal preparation, submission, and compliance with funding requirements. They will also support the development of collaborative projects, fostering partnerships between internal teams and external organizations.
The Junior Technical Project Manager will also contribute to the research and development of solutions leveraging AI and ML, participating in the design and implementation of new tools and methodologies to address complex challenges in healthcare.
Responsibilities and Main Activities
- Coordinate and support the pre-award phase of national and international funding programs, including grant proposal preparation, submission, and compliance monitoring.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and objectives.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of innovative solutions, leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, ML, and data-driven methodologies.
- Facilitate the design, integration, and management of collaborative projects, fostering partnerships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation of all project phases, including technical specifications, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable plans.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying and addressing potential risks or roadblocks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of AI, ML, and data science concepts, including their potential applications in real-world scenarios.
- Experience in writing and managing grant applications or funding proposals for national and international programs is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with software development cycles and/or IT infrastructures is appreciated.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, or similar); Master’s preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tools for data visualization and reporting.

Contract and duration
We can offer a fixed-term contract. Contract duration, salary, as well as employment level, will be defined based on candidate's profile.
