As Junior Data Product Associate, you will lay the foundation for great data and AI products that will one day delight people. In your team, you will be supporting the definition of the data and AI product vision, mission, and organizational set-up as well as supporting in defining roadmaps, crafting business cases and last but not least the strategic design for future data and AI products. Because only when these things are in place, a good product can be developed. In short, the role combines all the magic: entrepreneurial spirit, stakeholder management, product management, strategic and conceptual project work and of course: a passion for data and AI!

What will be your responsibility

  • As part of a well-experienced and skilled data product management team, you will apply and  develop the Mindfuel Framework to ensure viability, desirability, feasibility and datability of future data and AI products (e.g. data product vision, mission, value proposition, business case development, customer validation)
  • Support the design of real data and AI product strategies and concepts to enable our clients to leverage their data to the fullest (e.g. data organization, architecture, use case roadmaps)
  • Be part of the team that performs interviews and workshops with various stakeholders from top management to data scientists or our client's clients to get everyone on the same page and support designing real client products
  • Visualize your concepts and analyses in PowerPoint to delight and amaze our clients
  • Perform data explorations to assess datability of new data product ideas and develop first Proof-of-Concept solutions
  • Take ownership of your development path: whether you take the path to become a Data and AI Product Strategist or Data and AI Product Manager or something completely different - it will be up to you and the skills and interests which you will develop
  • And last but not least: Develop Mindfuel Studio to become THE player in Data and AI Product Management by engaging in internal activities (e.g. recruiting, marketing, process definitions)


What you'll need

  • First professional experience  (e.g. internship, working student) at the interplay of data and AI, strategy, consultancy and/or entrepreneurship, e.g.
    • in a leading tech or strategy consultancy (ideally with a focus on technology/data/digital)
    • as a (Digital/Data) Product Manager
    • as a (Digital/Data) Product Owner
    • in (tech or data) start-ups
  • (Technical) higher education: B.Ss. /M.Sc. in computer science, business administration, data science, engineering, or related fields with strong academic performance
  • Strong communication skills are curious and resourceful - and enjoy dealing with data as much as people
  • First experience with consulting skills and/or knowledge of product management
    • Good understanding of the consulting toolbox to delight our clients with amazing storylines and sharp analyses
    • Good experience with PowerPoint and ideally Excel
    • Good understanding of the product management process and key elements of product management
  • Solid understanding of data-driven technologies (e.g. data platforms, data science, advanced analytics) and AI (e.g. GenAI)
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in German and in English, both verbally and in writing, and experience with presenting your concepts and analyses to your supervisors and/or management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ambition to break new digital ground and identify growth opportunities
  • Clear understanding of data and AI as well as its advantages and limitations
  • And don't worry - what you do not yet know, you will learn
