Job Description

Summary:

The Data Science team is a leading an internal SMART factory implementation. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team working closely with factory operations, engineering and platform development team to deliver factory of the future. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Western Digital Industry 4.0 journey and change the way technology is used.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist engineer in analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data; develop deep-dive analysis and machine learning / AI models into application or integrate with any pre-existing systems; demonstrate successful use cases and wins to drive business value.
• Assist engineer in designing AR assets, coding, enhancing the User Interface & User Experience for end user, along with providing support and ongoing maintenance
• Help engineer to create custom AR (Augmented Reality) experiences for enterprise use cases & setup virtual environments for a wide range of AR scenarios
• Constantly learn new front tier technology and creatively apply/deliver solutions to manufacturing operations to meet KPIs.
• Assist engineer in developing computer vision models for assembly machines
• Assist engineer in analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data; develop deep-dive analysis and machine learning / AI models into application or integrate with any pre-existing systems; demonstrate successful use cases and wins to drive business value
• Assist engineer in building web application for CV model auto-training

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Degree in Computer science, data science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant work experience and education background.
• Skills in Python, Machine Learning, Tensorflow framework, Augmented Reality, Computer Vision

PREFERRED

• Chatbot (added advantage) with NLP, NLU

SKILLS

• Familiar with some of the following Statistical Analysis & Modelling Tools: JMP, Minitab, SPSS, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, SAS coding.
• Ability to learn quickly and become productive on new technologies, APIs, development languages and frameworks.
• Self-motivated, strong ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
