The Intermediates division develops, produces and markets an extensive range of intermediates such as amines, diols, polyalcohols, acids and specialities worldwide. The intermediates are used, for example, as starting materials for plastics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, detergents and crop protection products. Our innovative products help to improve the properties of the products manufactured with them and the efficiency of production processes.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are a product management unit at the interface between sales, production, supply chain and research. Our focus is on the operational support and strategic development of our speciality intermediates portfolio. This includes positioning innovative solutions, opening up new applications and developing new products. Our diverse team brings in different expertise and is motivated to use AI to make our work even more effective.
- You are right in the middle! During your internship, you will independently carry out market analyses in the chemicals sector using modern AI tools.
- You will compare the results of the analyses together with your colleagues from Product Management, Sales and Innovation Management.
- You will also evaluate the tools used in terms of functionality, strengths and weaknesses.
- Your expertise is in demand! You will develop innovative training solutions, e.g. chatbots, for internal knowledge transfer.
- Last but not least, you will actively contribute to the further development of digital methods in the market environment.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- ongoing studies in chemistry, chemical engineering or industrial chemistry
- initial practical experience in working with digital tools or in the field of market analyses
- basic knowledge in the application of AI-based systems and interest in innovative technologies
- very good knowledge of German
- strong analytical mindset, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
