Your Project
We are at the forefront of building and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) to use in clinical and preclinical studies. We want to create medicines that have a greater impact on society in a faster and more efficient way. The goal of this project, in particular, is to reduce the amount of animal testing needed to develop a drug by leveraging large preclinical datasets and cutting-edge LLM approaches at the forefront of science.
This is a research project, meaning we will discover what works (& what doesn’t) together. You will join our team and own this project, with our support and guidance at every step of the way.
Your Tasks
Own the preclinical segment of the project, with our support and mentorship.
Champion the preprocessing of preclinical datasets into LLM ready datasets.
As part of a global team, pretrain & fine-tune LLMs.
Evaluate the performance of LLMs against benchmarks.
If successful, support the publication writing process.
Your Profile
Enrolled in a master’s program in data science, computer science, bioinformatics, or related field, with experience in R or Python, applied to data processing & machine learning.
Team player with great communication skills.
Strong interest in research and development (R&D), as well as willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking
