Your Project
We are at the forefront of building and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) to use in clinical and preclinical studies. We want to create medicines that have a greater impact on society in a faster and more efficient way. The goal of this project is to accelerate the setup of clinical trials by improving the trial process and therefore bringing medicine faster to patients.
You will join our team and support the ophthalmology LLM project, working together to develop an ophthalmology focused LLM. This is a research project, meaning we will discover what works (& what doesn’t) together.
Your Tasks
Support and take ownership of key parts of the ophthalmology project.
Champion the preprocessing of ophthalmology clinical trial data into multimodal LLM ready datasets, including imaging and electronic health record data.
As part of a global team, pretrain & fine-tune multimodal LLMs.
Evaluate the performance of LLMs against benchmarks.
Support the publication writing process.
Your Profile
Enrolled in a master’s program in data science, computer science, bioinformatics, or related field, with experience in R or Python, applied to data processing & machine learning.
Team player with great communication skills.
Strong interest in research and development (R&D), as well as willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
You are proficient in English and not afraid of talking
