Your Team

The Design Enablement - Analog department, is providing design tools and solutions for designers working on analog, mixed A/D signal and RF integrated circuits. We are currently looking for a student for a 10-month internship to build an AI/ML-based flow meant to decompose an incoming analog IP into basic functional structures, such as current mirrors, input pairs, drivers, pass gates, power switches, level shifters, clamping diodes, etc.

Your Responsibilities

• Basic familiarization with IC design environment.
• Utilize and improve the in-house processing flow meant to decompose an incoming analog IP into basic functional structures (top down approach).
• Apply AI/ML to recognize analog blocks built with the identified functional structures (bottom up approach).
• User documentation.

Your Profile

• Master of Science - last year of electrical engineer school
• Proficient with Python language development
• Knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and data science libraries in Python (e.g., tensorflow, pytorch, pandas, numpy)
• Knowledge/experience in Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and Transformers is a plus
• Experience in Linux environment ‒ all our development tools are running on this platform
• Versioning/data-management tools
• Cadence Virtuoso knowledge
• Good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation)
• Cadence SKILL language is a plus

Duration 

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 10 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
