Be part of the ZEISS Solutions Lab team to develop customized automation solutions for electron microscopy
Create fully automated workflows from image acquisition to image analysis
Collaborate with data scientists to implement hardware automation and computer vision pipelines
Control microscopes and preprocess images for object detection and segmentation
Conduct statistical analyses on the acquired image data
Enhance knowledge in deep learning models and image processing algorithms
Deepen expertise in advanced software engineering topics and usage of ZEISS electron microscopes
Opportunity to develop solutions for quality labs in the manufacturing and electronics industries
Taken classes in the fields of computer science, mathematics, physics or any other STEM subject with advanced programming skills
Successfully completed at least 2 years of study
Strong proficiency with Python and the scientific ecosystem (e.g. numpy, sciki-image, pandas)
Fluent English or German
Deep curiosity and willingness to dive into new subject areas
Ability to work in an independent, goal- and output-oriented manner
Good communication skills in order to work with our customers
Fun working in agile, interdisciplinary teams
The following will be considered an advantage: First experience with electron microscopes; First experience with machine learning
