The Integration Engineer at Tabby plays a crucial role in facilitating seamless integration of our BNPL products with our merchant partners. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to ensure successful integrations and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with merchants to understand their requirements and guide them through integrating Tabby’s APIs, website plugins, and mobile SDKs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Work closely with internal teams - including Sales, Account Management, Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers - to align on integration objectives and address technical challenges.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for merchants, troubleshooting integration issues, conducting initial problem analysis, and coordinating with development teams to implement solutions.
  • Establish monitoring systems to oversee integration performance, ensure continuous operation, and participate in incident management related to integrations and payments.
  • Develop technical content, including documentation and demos, to educate customers on implementing specific use cases and best practices with Tabby’s products.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • A minimum of 3 years in a technical role, with at least 1 year as an Integration Engineer, QA Engineer, or Technical Support Agent. Experience with payment providers or acquirers is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and development, with hands-on experience using tools like Postman. Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems such as Datadog, Grafana, or Kibana.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in incident management, conduct post-mortems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with development teams, understanding product processes, and managing tasks using Helpdesk systems and Jira task trackers.
Nice to Have:
  • Ability to write simple SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
  • Experience in establishing and configuring service monitoring tools to ensure reliability.
  • Proven experience in B2B communications, particularly in a technical support or integration context.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing external QA and support processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
