Roles and Responsabilities

  • Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for customers during the onboarding process, responding to inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring clear communication.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all client onboarding activities comply with Proper's scope of work, identify exceptional activities, and propose alternative options for non-compliant clients.
  • Documentation Collection: Gather and review client documentation such as client agreement, addendums, scope of work, third party access, accounting database, work papers, and any financial documents used by the client for accounting purposes.
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution: Address any issues or concerns that arise during the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for the client.
  • Providing Guidance: Offering assistance and guidance to clients on the onboarding process, including explaining procedures and requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as sales, IT, POPs. and delivery to coordinate efforts and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for customers.

Key Activities

  • Schedule and conduct onboarding meetings with clients.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the onboarding process.
  • Obtain feedback from clients about their onboarding experience.
  • Track client onboarding progress against target start service date.
  • Maintain records of client login credentials.
  • Review documentation, request missing information, confirm dates, review sales notes, etc.
  • Analyze client's existing processes in the accounting software (AR, AP, BR, MEC, Financial Reporting)
  • Prepare internal documentation based on analysis of client information.
  • Review process standardization, variations and data collected with the client.
  • Follow up on missing information, requests and open items.
  • Facilitate transfer of knowledge (TOK) with the operations team.
  • Provide active follow-up during the first month of client service.
  • Escalate any identified issues or discrepancies to the Implementation Specialist.
  • Maintain organized records and files of the onboarding process.

Requirements

  • Accounting bachelor's degree is required
  • 2 years of experience in accounting roles
  • 1 year of experience in customer facing roles
  • English fluency
  • 6 months on data analysis (Nice to have)
