We are looking for an HR Operations Associate to join our dynamic team, overseeing key HR processes and ensuring operational efficiency. The HR Operations Associate will manage a range of HR functions including employee onboarding, tax compliance, benefits management, and HRIS data accuracy using Rippling. You will collaborate closely with recruiting, IT, and other departments to ensure a seamless employee experience and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Onboarding: Oversee the operational aspects of employee onboarding, coordinating with Recruiting, IT, and other teams to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
HRIS Management: Manage the Rippling platform, ensuring HRIS data is accurate and up-to-date. Handle data collection and reporting, including updates to department structures and reporting relationships.
Tax Compliance: Forward tax documents to Rippling and manage related tax compliance issues.
Contractor Management: Oversee contractor renewals and payroll, ensuring contractors are paid on time and correctly.
Benefits Management: Assist employees with benefits-related questions and manage the confirmation process for new hires. Explore and implement supplemental benefits, such as mental wellness and fertility benefits.
Leave Management: Administer leave requests via our leave management vendor (Tilt), ensuring all leaves are processed accurately. Collaborate with Accounting to ensure payroll is updated accordingly.
E-verify & I-9 Compliance: Manage I-9 verifications and e-verify processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Reporting & Data Collection: Pull ad-hoc reports and assist with onboarding new HR tools or platforms.
Company Calendar Management: Oversee company calendars, ensuring key HR-related events and deadlines are tracked and communicated effectively.
Process Improvements: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and implement process changes that improve operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of HR operations experience, ideally with exposure to HRIS platforms like Rippling.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with I-9, e-verify, and tax compliance processes.
Experience working with contractor payroll and benefits management is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
Knowledge of employee benefits programs and leave management processes is preferred.
