We are looking for the best The HR generalist will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources for our 42dot Silicon valley branch including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and payroll & benefits management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talents.
Collaborate with recruitment agencies to identify and attract top talents.
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and issues.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions as needed.
Performance Management:
Support the implementation of performance evaluation systems.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal and CA state labor laws and company policies.
Manage all aspects of payroll and, benefits administration including taxes and deductions, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and local regulations.
Ensure employees are informed and understand company policies.
Communication with HQ:
Coordinate with headquarters HR in Korea to align Silicon valley branch HR practices with global strategies.
Participate in regular meetings and report on Silicon valley branch HR activities and challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in an IT or technology-focused company.
Strong understanding of federal and CA state labor laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Korean is a plus.
