Job Description:

The HR Business Partner is a seasoned HR professional with local, regional, or global scope and deep business acumen. Provides strategic insights and advice to regional/country leaders, and/or business segment leaders. Drives HR programs and talent initiatives on a local level while ensuring alignment with global objectives and workforce compliance.

Collaborates with business leaders at L3 and below to translate and align business imperatives to talent strategies and plans. Serves as an advocate and champion for HR programs as well as organizational values and culture. Partners with COEs and HR Business Leaders and represents regional business insights, regulations, and cultural needs on the design, development and implementation of HR programs, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates initiatives enhancing employee engagement and collaboration at the local/regional/geography level, fostering cross-functional interactions, and transparent communication strategies.
  • Supports the execution of talent strategies to specific teams or projects, collaborating on role identification, skill gap analysis, and targeted development plans.
  • Provides input on HR service improvements to Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Services.
  • Contributes to effective change management within designated areas, aiding in communication, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring a smooth transition during periods of organizational change.
  • Participates in workforce planning and talent development discussions, leveraging workforce data interpretation, analysis, and insights.
  • Collaborates with HR leadership to shape recruitment, succession planning, and training initiatives in line with strategic objectives.

Education and Experience:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, 4+ years of related experience in human resources functional areas, HR Generalist, or HR Consulting role.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles and practices.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with HR services integration and HR program implementation processes.
  • Basic knowledge of local/regional labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and organizational design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
