Job Family Definition:

Responsible for driving business growth by developing new business or new ways to grow revenue of existing business. Leads the Deal Pursuit team in preparing and communicating the customer business case/proposal for emerging markets, existing markets, and specific deals. Guides Pursuit & account teams through opportunity creation and pursuit strategic planning, qualifying mega deals, and developing and substantiating the services value proposition. Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas, and provides the business value selling expertise for specific solutions. Devises and executes a growth plan that meets business goals for a given geographic and/or service business area; including accountability for achieving revenue & order targets. Builds high-quality funnels that generate customer demand in partnership with marketing & sales.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate overall go to market activities for HPE Private Cloud AI (PC AI) GTM program.  Lead and manage and extended, cross-functional program team to achieve sales objectives for the PC AI program.
 
Role Responsibilities: 
•    Facilitate and coordinate workstreams activities with workstream owners that covers:
o    GTM and Solution Readiness
o    Sales Enablement
o    Geo Readiness
o    Governance model
o    Measurement and Reporting
o    Sales and Marketing Initiatives
o    Channel Activation
o    Nvidia dependent tasks
•    Coordinate and facilitate BU led enablement activities with leaders
o    Hybrid Cloud and HPE GreenLake
o    Compute
o    Storage
o    Networking 
o    Software
•    Implement and execute a program management system that identifies program milestones, anticipates and mitigates risks, aligns and adapts resources, and recommends appropriate measures and requests to meet program objectives.
•    Manage and Report on program status with appropriate communications for program stakeholders covering program milestones, lead generation, and pipeline development and progression – frequency and formats to be determined and finalized.
o    HPE Executive Committee
o    HPE Global Sales Executives
o    HPE BU executives
o    Geo Sales leadership
•    Participate and recommend long-term plan elements to support the program in FY25 including: Sales coverage, compensation and incentives plan, sales skills identification and development.
 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically 10+ years in the GTM and 3+ years in developing new business opportunities with clients, preferably with the CxO level.

Role Specific Skills:
•    Excellent communications skill and experience communicating from “C” level executives to front line sellers and partners.
•    Demonstrated experience working with 3rd party alliances on joint GTM programs.
•    Sales management skills: Territory planning, sales coverage, sales incentives, and pipeline management
•    Demonstrated experience of successfully working with matrixed team structures, leading extended teams across the business units and / organizations
•    Ability to develop, interpret and act on customer and sales data to achieve sales program goals.
•    Prior experience of program managing Large and multi-BU sales or GTM programs.
