Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to lead our global recruitment efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping our talent strategy and partnering with hiring managers to ensure we deliver innovative and creative advice and solutions for attracting, selecting, and retaining the best talent across all regions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record in talent acquisition, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovative recruitment strategies in a fast-paced, global environment. You will be a valued and integral part of our team and contribute to our continued success.

This is an international, commercial, and strategic managerial role - but it is still very much a position where you take a hands-on approach to delivering world-class talent for the business and experience for our candidates through managing a range of key leadership and strategically important roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Talent Acquisition Strategies:

  • Design and execute comprehensive, innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent globally.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Build talent pipelines for our Associate role, ensuring a constantly refreshed talent pool.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse talent acquisition team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with the Executive, senior leadership, hiring managers, and People Business Partners to understand workforce needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
  • Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on talent acquisition best practices.

Employer Branding:

  • Enhance and promote our employer brand to attract high-quality candidates through various channels and initiatives, including social media, job fairs, and industry events.
  • Develop and implement employer branding strategies highlighting the company’s culture, values, and career opportunities.

Data-Driven Recruitment:

  • Use data and analytics to measure recruitment effectiveness, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Implement and maintain recruitment metrics and dashboards to track performance and drive continuous improvement.

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Promote diversity and inclusion in all recruitment practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain diverse talent, ensuring an inclusive hiring process.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and other service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective, high-quality recruitment services.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local and international employment laws and regulations, including GDPR.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and ensure the team is trained on compliance requirements.

Candidate Experience:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve a positive end-to-end candidate experience.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to improve the candidate journey continuously.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and report on-budget performance, adjusting to meet financial targets.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of six years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least two years in a leadership role within a global organisation.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire globally dispersed teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives, especially in high-growth environments.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive recruitment decisions and strategies.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Legal: Good understanding of international recruitment-related labour law, compliance standards and the GDPR
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, enjoy organisational transformation, change, and project management.

The position reports to the Global Head of People and will be in our Berlin office.
