We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales with a track record of building and running successful sales departments in SMB-focused companies.

This is a hands-on role: the Head of Sales will actively dive into direct sales, closing deals and building pipelines, while also crafting and leading a comprehensive sales strategy. The Head of Sales will create a scalable playbook, establish onboarding processes, set measurable goals, and gradually hire and build a team as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Hit sales targets: drive and close deals directly with clients, while leading the sales team.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting SMBs.
  • Design and document a robust sales playbook to drive consistency and success.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new sales team members to ensure readiness and alignment with goals.
  • Establish KPIs and tracking systems to measure team and personal sales outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of the sales strategy with product and customer success initiatives.
  • Model leadership and foster a culture of respect, hard work and ambitious growth as the team expands.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading sales teams in SMB-focused companies, with a successful record of revenue growth.
  • Strong ability to set strategic direction and execute hands-on.
  • Expertise in developing sales processes, playbooks, and team onboarding programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a data-driven approach to measuring results.
