The Role

As the Head of Parking Product, you will lead the development of Wayve’s autonomous parking solutions—from strategic vision through to execution. You’ll own the product roadmap for parking features, guiding teams across AI, software, hardware, and business to bring robust, real-world automated parking systems to market. This includes working with OEMs and regulatory partners to ensure product alignment and readiness for global deployment.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that will shape how our vehicles understand, navigate, and perform parking tasks—pushing the boundaries of what autonomous technology can do in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap and Strategy

  • Define and evolve the product roadmap for autonomous parking features across L2+, L3, and L4 systems.
  • Identify and anticipate industry trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments in the parking domain.
  • Drive product strategy to support multiple OEM configurations and vehicle platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on parking product matters.
  • Collaborate closely with OEMs, regulatory bodies, and internal engineering and commercial teams.
  • Translate OEM requirements and RFQs into actionable product deliverables.

Product Development & Releases

  • Oversee the end-to-end development of parking features, ensuring functional safety, system performance, and compliance.
  • Align product objectives with technical development across perception, planning, and control.
  • Manage product releases to meet quality benchmarks, customer expectations, and program timelines.
  • Ensure thorough testing and validation of parking features in simulated and real-world conditions.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a multidisciplinary product team, creating a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Mentor and develop product managers and specialists within the parking domain.
  • Align team goals with company vision, supporting scalability and innovation.

About You

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

Essential

  • Proven experience in product management within autonomous driving, automotive tech, or mobility domains.
  • Strong track record delivering complex software and AI-driven products in production vehicles.
  • Experience working with OEMs and managing RFQ responses.
  • Deep understanding of automated parking systems and relevant features.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, UNECE R79, R155) and validation protocols for parking systems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through product lifecycle stages.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to set and execute long-term product vision
