As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring that our processes and systems align with our business goals. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the growth of the company.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in P&L management, extensive experience in SaaS startups, and the ability to work closely with senior management, R&D teams, and legal departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to support the company's growth objectives. Performing hands-on operative tasks and supervising the day-to-day operation in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the company's P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure profitability and financial health.
• Identify and implement process optimizations to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with R&D, product, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of operations with business development and product innovation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manage operational risks. Oversee legal compliance in coordination with the legal team.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to manage contracts, intellectual property, and other legal matters. Ensure operational practices adhere to legal requirements and mitigate risks associated with regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in operational leadership roles, with a significant part in global SaaS companies
• Proven experience in a startup environment (10-50 employees), preferably having scaled operations from early stages
• Familiarity with legal aspects of business operations, including contract management and regulatory compliance
• Strong background and proven experience in managing profit and loss statements, budgeting, financial analysis, and treasury management
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience working with and influencing senior management and stakeholders
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the relationship between business and R&D functions, and the ability to bridge the gap between these areas
• Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Law, or a related field, an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus
