vHive is rapidly expanding in the energy sector across the Americas and is seeking a leadership role to drive this growth. We are seeking a senior professional to lead and develop our energy vertical, shape our go-to-market approach, and work closely with key stakeholders to scale our operations in this critical domain.

This role spans building and owning the strategy, partnerships, and business infrastructure that will establish vHive as a leading provider of digital solutions for the energy sector. It’s a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company and spearhead the development of a new growth engine from the ground up.

We are looking for candidates with

  • A deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, with experience working with or for large utilities, renewable energy companies, or infrastructure providers.
  • A strategic and operational mindset—you can build a business plan, impact our vision, and turn it into a repeatable business engine.
  • Leadership and ownership—you can drive cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders, and take full responsibility for business outcomes.
  • Experience in selling to and managing relationships with large enterprise customers and guiding long-term partnerships.
  • A track record of building scalable processes, market strategies, and organizational structures to support a growing business unit.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to influence across sales, product, operations, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the energy vertical strategy and execution globally.
  • Define the go-to-market strategy, including customer segments, partnerships, sales etc
  • Act as the voice of the customer—translate customer needs and market trends into business insights and product recommendations.
  • Run a full sales cycle from qualification and discovery to fulfillment
  • Fly Drones! Plan and deliver field product demonstrations that clearly differentiate vHive from other drone software vendors.
  • Be on top of market trends in your Sales domain. Work with marketing team to establish competitive marketing edge.
  • Lead and own the RFX proposal process with support from other disciplines.
  • Lead in collaboration with the multidisciplinary project teams the deliverables to meet customer needs
  • Support business development activities, but with a focus on structuring deals, shaping offerings, and creating long-term value.
  • Collaborate with marketing to define positioning, messaging, and campaigns tailored to the energy sector.
  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums.
  • Provide executive updates on market performance, challenges, and growth opportunities
  • The role reports to the CRO.

Requirements

Required profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in business leadership, strategic partnerships, or vertical management within the energy industry.
  • An entrepreneurial mentality, broad business view and hunger to learn.
  • Proven ability to launch, lead, and scale a business line or vertical, ideally within a tech or software-driven company.
  • Experience with selling solutions to the renewable energy market, software preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in global, cross-functional teams.
  • A results-driven, self-motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Have a flexible attitude, an innovative entrepreneur, creative and curious by nature, being able to push the various internal parties involved to product innovation
  • Degree in engineering and business preferred
  • Located near a major travel hub, with flexibility for travel as needed.
