What you’ll do 
We are looking for a visionary Head of AI and Data & Analytics to spearhead our strategic use of artificial intelligence. This role involves driving data and AI transformation with a balanced central-federated approach, enhancing our data foundation for effective usage. You'll foster a purpose-driven culture to achieve Volvo Cars' goals while ensuring data integrity, security, ethics, and compliance. 
Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data, analytics, and AI capabilities throughout the business domains to integrate data insights into decision-making business processes.
Ensure data and AI integrity, security, ethics and compliance as part of driving policies and principles together with other business functions.
Mentor, coach, and inspire the central and data hub teams to execute on data transformation by improving the data foundation and take full advantage of analytics, and AI.

 

Candidate Profile 
•    Experience from leading bigger organizations within the Data domain and with that good in both setting and executing on strategies
•    A visionary mindset with a strong understanding of the future potential of AI and analytics.
o    Highly attuned to emerging technologies in the AI, analytics and data space
o    Possesses strong business acumen with the excitement for driving process efficiency in decision support, surpassing current expectations. 
o    Constantly challenging common standards and willing to push the limits of what is possible, strive to achieve the highest levels of performance and innovation
•    A leader who is viewed by others as having a high degree of integrity and forethought in their approach to making decisions; the ability to act in a transparent and consistent manner while always taking into account what is best for the organization
•    Strong in building relationships to Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
•    A passionate leader that can coach people and teams to the next level
•    Strong understanding and experience from the Data and Analytics domain
•    Hands-on experience from AI implementations in larger organizations. 
•    Understand the importance of data quality and data availability to successfully be able to create value from data
