Purpose

Career Success is launching an AI-powered initiative to streamline the delivery and scaling of career support resources for staff, employers, and faculty. We are seeking a graduate assistant with an interest in AI systems, content architecture, and user experience to assist in building and maintaining a centralized SharePoint knowledge hub and developing supporting tools and documentation. This role supports strategic data, content, and automation projects aimed at improving how career champions access and use information to empower student career development.

The position reports to the Associate Director of Career Enablement & Innovation and will work closely with colleagues across Career Success units and campus partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain a structured SharePoint site to house dynamic resources, templates, toolkits, and workflows for the Career Success team
  • Assist with developing an AI knowledge base and content tagging system for integration into coaching tools or digital agents
  • Organize and standardize resource libraries and internal documentation to support a scalable, user-friendly system
  • Analyze user needs and workflows to optimize content discoverability, access, and utility
  • Collaborate with team members to draft training guides, toolkits, and project documentation
  • Support change management communications and training for end users (e.g., career coaches, student staff, campus stakeholders)
  • Assist in testing and implementing AI-enabled features and platforms to enhance resource use and decision-making

Required Qualifications

  • Strong interest or experience in knowledge management systems (i.e., SharePoint, Notion, Confluence)
  • Technological proficiency and comfort with building digital tools, resources, or dashboards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and ability to translate needs into structured systems or documentation
  • Ability to research and summarize findings
  • Demonstrated initiative, punctuality, and follow-through skills, as well as an ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint development, metadata tagging, or content organization strategies
  • Interest in artificial intelligence and its application in education or career services
  • Familiarity with user-centered design or information architecture
  • Experience working with large teams or institutional departments on cross-functional initiatives

Salary Range

$20/hour

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid blend of on-campus and remote work

  • This is a non-academic, hourly position

Work Shift

  • 15-19 scheduled weekly hours
  • Continuation into Fall 2025 is possible, based on performance
