OakNorth is looking for a graduate to join our team. You’ll help us scale the use of Generative AI across the business, working on real projects that deliver measurable impact. From coordinating automation pilots and testing new tools, to supporting strategic partnerships and building AI adoption, you’ll be embedded in one of the most forward-thinking teams in the bank.This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who’s curious about AI, great at getting things done, and excited to work across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and continuously improve our GenAI resources, including the Use Case Library and internal learning guides
  • Coordinate access to AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, APIs), working with vendors and IT
  • Support and track automation pilots, collaborating with product and engineering to deliver time-saving projects
  • Drive adoption and enablement, helping organise weekly calls, demos, and webinars across the business
  • Monitor tool usage and performance; help assess ROI and identify blockers
  • Act as a first point of contact for complex or cross-functional use cases and support queries
  • Contribute to AI governance, supporting SOPs, responsible use guidelines, and escalation of risk issues
  • Stay ahead of new GenAI tools and trends, introducing those that align with our mission
  • Represent OakNorth at external events and help build relationships with academic and venture partners

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in humanities, social sciences, business, or similar
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Tech-native — you’re confident with Slack, GenAI tools, Figma, or analytics platforms
  • A natural systems thinker who enjoys creating structure and improving workflows
  • Comfortable working independently and solving open-ended problems
  • Interest in AI, automation, and the future of work
  • Bonus: experience with startups, strategy, or product work through internships or side projects
