Job Purpose:

The Global Automation & Innovation AI & Emerging Tech Program Manager will play a critical role in driving the strategic integration of AI and emerging technologies within DP World’s Contract Logistics business unit. The purpose of this role is to lead the identification, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, optimize processes, and create a competitive edge in the global logistics industry. This position will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and governance frameworks necessary to successfully deploy AI-driven initiatives, while ensuring alignment with business goals, effective stakeholder communication, and efficient resource management. Through these efforts, the Program Manager will contribute to DP World’s mission of maintaining its leadership in the logistics sector by leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive framework and strategy for AI and emerging technologies within the Contract Logistics business unit.
• Define a clear vision, objectives, and roadmap for AI and emerging tech integration, ensuring alignment with DP World's Contract Logistics broader business goals
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI and emerging tech-related use cases that can drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service offerings and oversee the execution of these use cases from concept to deployment, ensuring they deliver measurable value.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams and communicate the vision, strategy, and progress of AI and emerging tech initiatives to stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and buy-in.
• Develop and enforce a robust governance model for AI and emerging tech initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and establish risk management frameworks to address the ethical, security, and operational risks associated with AI technologies.
• Manage budgets for AI and emerging tech program, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and secure necessary funding and resources to support the implementation of Pilot AI-driven projects and initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the Contract Logistics business unit, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technologies and monitor industry trends and advancements in AI and emerging technologies to keep DP World at the cutting edge of innovation.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of AI and emerging tech initiatives and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the progress and outcomes of these initiatives.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on AI, automation, and emerging technologies within logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technology programs, from ideation to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, robotics, IoT, and other emerging technologies.
• Experience with stakeholder management, communication, and governance in a global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technology projects.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to travel up to 20 to 40% globally for site visits, vendor assessments, and customer meetings.
