Synopsis of the role: This 12-week Internship Program is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. As part of the Analytics Global Platforms team, students will get to work with a highly skilled team working on enabling nextgen Gen AI capabilities for Equifax.

This position is based in Atlanta. This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from our Alpharetta, GA location.

To adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) weekly onsite requirements, Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each and every week.

What You’ll Do

• Being part of a small but very productive team focused on implementing generative ai applications

• Writing a lot of Python code: Generative AI features, unit testing and sometimes integration tests

• Working with state of the art models (Gemini, Claude, Llama 3) and technologies (langchain, llama index, langgraph, etc.) to create generative AI applications 

• Working on Google Cloud Platform as cloud provider

• Attending daily meetings to share status and resolve any blocker

• Researching and implementing new techniques being used in the industry to manage and develop gen ai applications (not only text but also multimodality)

• Working in a containerized environment using Docker and devcontainers environments

What experience you need 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field

• Graduation date on or before May 2026

• Strong background in computer science and fundamentals such as programming, basic data structures and algorithms. 

• Strong background in Python: Experience or coursework 

• Experience or course work building Generative AI applications using any LLM framework (i.e, langchain, langgraph, semantic kernel or others) 

• Experience building prompts for LLMs

• Experience stimulating the large language models using techniques (such as react, reflection, planning) is a big bonus

• Experience working on Docker and Jupyter Notebooks is a big bonus

• Experience using Pydantic to control input and outputs in LLMs is a huge bonus

What could set you apart

• Any open source projects published in github.

• Experience building UI for Generative AI applications

• Knowledge in GCP

• Ability to learn quickly new technologies as needed 

• Interest in solving and troubleshooting complex solutions.

• Experience with algorithms, databases and writing clean code 

• Strong communication skills with their peers and open to receive feedback
