Meta is looking for a Research Scientist to join its Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) organization, an organization focused on making significant advances in AI. We publish groundbreaking papers and release frameworks/libraries that are widely used in the open-source community. We are seeking a Research Scientist to help develop novel foundation model architectures to (1) enable better reasoning over memory, learning of knowledge, and improvements in factuality/hallucination; (2) apply memory to personalization and language model agents including multi-agent collaborative reasoning; and (3) build the next generation of foundational multimodal language models. This role will be best aligned to researchers who can be considered recognized experts in the fields of natural language processing (LLMs) and core learning with interest to contribute their research to top tier AI/ML conference venues.A research scientist in this role will drive impact by (1) contributing to state-of-the-art research publications, (2) open-sourcing high-quality code and reproducible results for the community, and/or (3) bringing the latest research to Facebook products for connecting billions of users.
