Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Senior Full Stack Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. With a minimum of 4 years of overall software engineering experience, you will lead the development of Node.js/Nest.js/Javascript applications. The ideal candidate should be ownership, accountability, and proactivity-focused, demonstrating strong teamwork and effective communication skills in English. If you have a proven track record of building and deploying REST APIs, and enjoy collaborating with front-end developers for seamless integrations, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your extensive experience to architect, design, and implement robust backend solutions for consumer applications.
• Work with Node.js, Nest.js, and Postgres to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Take full ownership of backend development projects, ensuring code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Demonstrate a proactive and accountable approach to solving challenges and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within the backend architecture.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate backend services seamlessly into the overall application.
• Design, build, and deploy RESTful APIs that meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure APIs are well-documented, scalable, and adhere to industry standards. Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. 

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience. 
• Proven expertise in building consumer applications with Node.js, Nest.js, and Postgres. 
• Experience in designing, building, and deploying RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture, and best practices.
