We’re hiring a Founding Recruiter to build the team that builds Mach9. You’ll lead hiring across engineering and go-to-market. You’ll work directly with the CEO and CTO and help define how we scale.

You’ll be one of the most important hires we make.

This role is perfect for a relentless, high-output sourcer or early-career recruiter who’s looking to step into an ownership role at a fast-growing startup.

How you’ll impact Mach9:

  • Recruit world-class colleagues across tech and GTM

  • Source, pitch, coordinate, and close top talent

  • Keep candidates warm, informed, and moving fast

  • Represent Mach9 as the face of our company at events, conferences, and online

  • Experiment with campaigns, AI tools, and outreach tactics

About you

  • 1-3 years of sourcing experience, either for hardcore engineering or stellar go-to-market teams. We’ll teach you how to recruit for the other side

  • Proven ability to find and engage top talent

  • Strong communicator - clear, concise, and persuasive, with immaculate attention to detail

  • Highly organized, fast-moving, and accountable

  • Comfortable with change, chaos, and startup speed

  • Comfort with a modern recruiting stack (eg Ashby, LinkedIn) and experimenting with new AI tools

How we’ll support you:

  • Direct reporting to the CEO and CTO for fast decisions and tight feedback loops

  • Authority to shape our brand and run experimental recruiting campaigns

  • Coaching and support from top-tier advisors

  • Ashby + LinkedIn Recruiter + whatever AI tools you want

$80,000 - $120,000
