Your mission

  • Design and develop advanced flight control algorithms for UAVs, with a focus on VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft
  • Implement and optimize control systems (PID, LQR, MPC, adaptive control) for stable and efficient UAV maneuvering
  • Model and analyze UAV flight dynamics, ensuring robust performance in aerodynamically complex environments
  • Select and integrate sensors (IMU, GPS, Lidar, barometers) and avionics into UAV platforms
  • Develop real-time state estimation algorithms (EKF, UKF, SLAM) for UAV positioning and navigation
  • Work on fault-tolerant flight control architectures, enabling UAV resilience in GPS-denied and EW-contested environments
  • Optimize VTOL propulsion systems, ensuring smooth transitions between hover and fixed-wing flight
  • Conduct HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing to validate flight control strategies
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety and UAV standards (FAA, EASA, MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO STANAGs)

Your profile

  • 5+ years experience in flight dynamics, UAV control systems, or aerospace engineering
  • Strong expertise in control theory, flight modeling, and UAV aerodynamics
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, or Rust for control system development
  • Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, ROS2, and real-time flight software frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in sensor selection, avionics integration, and embedded UAV electronics
  • Knowledge of real-time flight stability algorithms, adaptive control, and failure recovery mechanisms
Nice to have
  • Experience in hybrid UAV propulsion systems (battery, fuel cell, hydrogen, hybrid-electric)
  • Background in AI-enhanced flight control and reinforcement learning for UAV autonomy
  • Knowledge of military UAV flight standards, stealth aerodynamics, and electronic warfare resilience
