Key Responsibilities

  • Generate daily bank statements and update them on the cash dashboard and the ERP.
  • Daily reconciliation of bank transactions in the ERP.
  • Summarizing bank statements transactions on a daily basis, updating balances and bank reconciliation.
  • Coordinating with banking partners (account opening, payout matters, charges, API/ tech integration). Liaising with all banks for queries like reversals, portal and transfers issues.
  • Assisting in accounting and reporting requirements related to cash movement between group companies.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation gaps between systems.
  • Perform daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data.
  • Working closely with the Tech team in streamlining data workflows and processes related to settlements, customer payments, other reconciliations, etc.
  • Handling internal and external inquiries related to payments and settlement issues and helping resolving them.
  • Support the month end process and generate month-end reports.
  • Identifying ways to improve efficiency of existing processes.
  • Assist annual financial and due-diligence audits in providing backup documentation and system review with the auditors.
  • Support financial operations tasks as needed.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • CPA/ACCA/CA qualification
  • 1-3 years of working in the Accounting and Finance team
  • Good working knowledge in Microsoft office
  • Experience in cross-functional and data driven teams and projects
  • Excellent command of Excel as well as knowledge in ERP Accounting Software
  • A good business partnering mindset
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Worked previously in a fast-paced startup environment or similar would be a bonus
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
