The Role

We are looking for a talented Finance Manager to join our team in London. Working alongside our CFO/COO, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of our business.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage all aspects of the company’s finances, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting in accordance with reporting deadlines
  • Monthly consolidation of 3 business entities’ (UK, Aus, US)
  • Ensure completion of all local tax, payroll, and corporate compliance (VAT, corporate tax, statutory accounts, business surveys, pension, national insurance, etc.)
  • Take the lead on month-end, quarter-end, year-end processes including reconciliations, accruals, billing, collections management
  • Manage all work relating to accounts payable & receivable including ownership of payments and invoicing across all business units building strong relationships along the way
  • Drive constant improvements in control, processes and systems
  • Proactively ensure international compliance across the team
  • Deliver accurate and timely management information with a clear understanding of key drivers and commentary against those
  • Involvement in additional ad-hoc projects as and when needed

Requirements

What skills do you need?

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant
  • Strong accounting and controls experience, ideally within a start-up or scaling technology company
  • Excellent Excel and GSuite skills, and experience of Xero would be highly advantageous
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive, fast-paced culture.
  • Fantastic organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Spendesk would be desirable but not essential
