Our compensation package: €60,000 - €65,000 in yearly salary, €10,000 - €30,000 in equity. Additionally, up to €5,000 p.a. in company benefits
Work model: Hybrid in Munich or remote in Germany
As a Field Engineer at Orbem, you are hands-on assisting with the installation & maintenance of our scanning solutions at our German-speaking and other European customer sites. This involves direct work on MRI systems, automated transport systems, and other technical equipment. You collaborate with our product, hardware, and software teams, ensuring timely realization of projects on-site and tailored to local conditions. Developing innovative solutions, you work directly with suppliers and contractors to coordinate issue resolution and gather necessary information to fix problems as needed onsite.
Your day to day
On a typical day you will:
evaluate local conditions and define site requirements for customer installations and assure site readiness.
organize the installation with various suppliers - remote and on-site
test system performance and teach the customer in safety, service and operation
collaborate with product management on customer feedback and product improvement
coordinate with suppliers on onsite servicing, repair or redesign

Technical Expertise
You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or similar; alternative: higher professional technical education (Techniker, Meister)
You know the architecture of industrial automation systems and their components
You have a solid knowledge in electricity, statics, construction and water-cooling
You have experience in CAD tools for drawing site plans (DWG files) or technical drawings
Organisational skills and Communication
