Mayo Clinic is seeking a PhD-level researcher with expertise in artificial intelligence and its applications in gastroenterology. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer vision and AI-driven imaging algorithms for tasks such as endoscopic disease classification, and early cancer detection using endoscopic images, ultrasound or MRI imaging. This is an opportunity for an early/mid-career investigator with a strong research agenda to develop independent projects, secure extramural funding, and ultimately establish a sustainable research program. The selected candidate will be expected to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team while working toward supporting the majority of their salary through competitive grant funding.

PhD or MD/PhD

Experience in computer vision and AI-driven imaging algorithms for tasks such as endoscopic disease classification, and early cancer detection using endoscopic images, ultrasound or MRI imaging.
