EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Azure Devops Engineer-Senior

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The opportunity

We’re looking for candidates with strong technology and data understanding in big data engineering space, having proven delivery capability. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm as well as a part of a growing Data and Analytics team.

Your key responsibilities

• Overall 4+ years of IT experience with 2+ Relevant experience as Azure Devops Engineer
• Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Oversee the release process working closely with development and operations teams ensuring deployments and having contingency plans for rollbacks if needed.
• Implement and maintain tools, like Ansible or Puppet, for uniformity across environments.
• Establish systems to monitor performance issues or errors in applications proactively.
• Implement security measures while adhering to industry norms and laws.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to the application, infrastructure, or deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams for effective communication and smooth workflow.
• Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze and estimate resource requirements to ensure optimum performance and scalability of applications.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Identify areas for improvement in the development and deployment processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Mentoring team members when utilizing continuous CD/CI capabilities of the Azure DevOps platform.
• knowledge on Cloud Services -Azure ,Azure Cloud with networking (Private endpoints / Firewall rules Networking). Terraform for the infrastructure knowledge
• SCM -Source code Management tool - Github, Azure Repository
• Exp on CICD tool –Azure Devops à Docker , Kubernetes , Ansible . Puppet, Maven
• Any scripting lang—Power /Shell
• Any monitoring tool exp such as Azure Monitor
• Any antifactory repository tool exp—Jforg or any azure artifacts 

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Be a computer science graduate or equivalent with 4-12 years of industry experience
• Have working experience in an Agile base delivery methodology (Preferable)
• Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal).

• Client management skills
