With our recent Series F round, we’re accelerating the abundance of frontier data to pave the road to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). We're also expanding on our prior model evaluation work with enterprise customers and governments, to deepen our capabilities and offerings for both public and private evaluations.   The Executive Recruiting team partners across the business to hire Director+ technical and non-technical roles. Recruiters joining today will develop executive recruiting and sourcing strategies that will scale with the new challenges we’re facing. 

You will:

  • Drive and lead the top-of-funnel recruiting strategy and research for executive hiring.
  • Use advanced search techniques and tools to identify high-potential executive candidates for leadership roles across various functions. 
  • Create detailed market maps of senior talent across the AI, technology, and data industries, keeping a pulse on competitors and talent movements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to build robust pipelines of executive talent.
  • Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and company culture to target the right talent.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence. Provide insights and reports to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Support sensitive and confidential executive searches, maintaining strict confidentiality throughout the search process.
  • Continuously build and expand a network of potential candidates, industry experts, and advisors to ensure a future-ready talent pipeline.

Ideally you'd have:

  • 7+ years of sourcing experience ideally sourcing executives for high growth tech companies.
  • Ability to use data, both quantitative and qualitative, to influence hiring managers and leaders.
  • Ability to distill complex information into a consumable and organized format with a focus on content, tone and structure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience sourcing for complex, Director+ technical roles. 
  • Effective organization and stakeholder management of Director+ searches.
  • Located in the Bay Area, can commute 3x per week to the San Francisco office.

***We are considering a range of levels for this role. Leveling will be determined based on interview performance and experience. Compensation will be aligned accordingly.

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process, and confirm whether the hired role will be eligible for equity grant.
