We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our ever-growing Engineering team.
We want this person to be responsible for managing a team of engineers, overseeing the development and delivery of features, and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and the Agile Delivery Manager.

Day in the Life
Manage a team of 6-8 engineers, including recruitment and onboarding.
Oversee the development and delivery of features within the assigned product area.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and the Agile Delivery Manager.
Implement and maintain Scrum methodology with 2-week sprints.
Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings.
Participate in bi-weekly Stakeholder Demos.
Manage technical debt and refactoring efforts.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
What You Bring to the Team
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication abilities, and a solid technical background to guide and mentor the team effectively.
Proven experience in engineering management or team leadership.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
Understanding of microservices architecture and containerisation (Kubernetes).
Beneficial Knowledge
Experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
Understanding of microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with AWS services, particularly RDS and EKS.
Knowledge of database technologies, including MySQL and Redis.
Experience with or willingness to learn Kafka and Databricks.
Understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks.
