Introduction:
The Artificial Intelligence Intern’s job will be to assist senior engineers with the execution of Artificial Intelligence projects targeted towards image-based quality inspections on the factory floor. These projects may be in various phases: concepting, image collection, software development, and testing. The focus is on practical applications of emerging technologies such as high-resolution 2D imaging, 3D Laser Scanning, Visual AI, and other technologies on the factory floor.

Capable of doing independent work on assigned tasks and completing tasks on schedule
Capable of doing on-site, hands on project work in an appropriately socially distance environment
Able to balance project work among 2-3 active projects
Capable of carrying out independent tests and reporting results in an accurate manner
Basic Qualifications
Current Bachelor's student in your Junior or Senior year or grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline
Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
Able to learn independently about new technologies or platforms
Able to work and collaborate with team members
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Software programming coursework
Experience doing Design Projects (Multi-semester projects preferred)
Preferred Knowledge or Experience
Experience with Society of Automotive Engineers, Photography, Robotics, or other extracurricular project teams.
Pursuing degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar distinction
Previous hands-on work experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or machine vision
