In GfK’s Market Insights business, we help our clients understand the dynamics of their marketplace including pricing, promotions, distribution and market share. Up-to-date retail sales data reveal how products are performing in the market.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Build data summarization models for business purposes to monitor, simulate and predict retail trends;

2. Apply big data models to calibrate and optimize retail trends;

3. Use Python and SQL tools to complete the required data preparation, cleaning, model development and implementation; 

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. Have more than three years of relevant working experience in e-commerce data processing;

2. Strong data processing ability, proficient in Excel and SQL, and familiar with Python;

3. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in mathematics, statistics, computing science or related fields.

4. Good English communication and writing skills;

5. Clear logic, sensitive to data, with independent thinking and judgment.
