We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product, AI, to lead our AI product strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, and a proven track record of successfully bringing AI products to market. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with short-term execution and who excels at collaborating with diverse teams to deliver innovative solutions. In this role, you will be accountable for:
Key Responsibilities:
Define and drive the AI product strategy and roadmap to enable applications related to Services, aligning with the company’s overall vision and business goals by partnering with various stakeholders as well as the AI platform team at Geico.
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends in AI to inform product development.
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and post-launch optimization.
Work closely with engineering, data science, design, and other teams to develop, test, and iterate on AI products.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and drive business results.
Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align AI initiatives with broader company strategies.
Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that product decisions are data-driven and focused on delivering value to users.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and inform product decisions.
Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product concepts.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI products and initiatives.
Continuously analyze product performance and user feedback, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align product initiatives with broader business goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
Experience with data-driven decision-making and familiarity with data science practices.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years Product Management Experience including 10 years in product leadership positions with proven record of accomplishment in software and technology products.
Deep experience in building AI/ML technologies, AI framework, chat and voice generative applications, and expertise in various LLM/ML models.
Proven experience in managing all aspects of a building products throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery to scaling.
10+ years leading, mentoring, and coaching product managers
Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and drive change
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in related field including MBA
This position is a hybrid role based either out of - San Francisco Bay area; OR Greater Washington DC Metropolitan (DMV) area.

Annual Salary
$150,000.00 - $250,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
