Description

We are Darrow – a fast-growing, mission-driven LegalTech startup with a mission to uncover legal wrongdoing and secure justice for impacted parties. Founded in 2020 in Tel Aviv, Israel, Darrow is revolutionizing the justice system. Our team of world-class legal experts and technologists has built an intelligence platform that uncovers egregious violations across legal domains, such as privacy and data breaches, consumer protection, securities and financial fraud, environment, and employment.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Director of Plaintiff Operations to lead our U.S.-based plaintiff operations. This leadership role will oversee key aspects of our plaintiff operations, with a strong focus on our newly formed mass torts team. The Director will ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service across all plaintiff-related functions. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in litigation operations, particularly within mass torts, along with expertise in case management, process improvement, and team leadership. Acting as a bridge between internal teams and external partners, the Director will drive alignment, scalability, and high-quality results in plaintiff acquisition efforts. This role will also serve as a primary client-facing representative on plaintiff acquisition-related matters, collaborating closely with sales leadership and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Building Intake Operations: Establish and expand intake operations in the U.S. specifically for mass tort cases, focusing on building a robust infrastructure to manage high volumes of plaintiff acquisition. This includes developing workflows, overseeing intake staff, and implementing tools for efficiency and quality control.
  • Client-Facing Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between the plaintiff-finding team and external partners, including law firms and acquisition vendors. Ensure clear, consistent communication on acquisition metrics, campaign performance, and case qualification updates, fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Build and maintain partnerships with external vendors, overseeing lead generation, document retrieval, and other essential services. Negotiate favorable terms, set performance standards, and ensure vendor alignment with Darrow’s quality and compliance expectations.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute the mass tort acquisition strategy, aligning with Darrow’s growth and revenue targets. Leverage data-driven insights to set strategic priorities and ensure high-quality leads are acquired efficiently.
  • Internal-External Bridge: Serve as the bridge between Darrow’s plaintiff finding team and external partners on all plaintiff acquisition topics, ensuring that strategies are aligned and expectations are clearly communicated. Support seamless collaboration by providing partners with regular updates, feedback, and actionable insights on acquisition activities.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Use predictive analytics and CRM insights to optimize intake processes, enhance plaintiff qualification, and drive down acquisition costs. Provide actionable data insights to internal and external stakeholders, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the mass tort intake team, including intake agents, supervisors, and case managers, ensuring team readiness to handle large volumes of cases with precision.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous standards for compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, TCPA) across all intake activities, ensuring high-quality interactions with plaintiffs and accurate case qualifications.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in mass tort operations, legal intake, or plaintiff acquisition within a law firm or LegalTech setting. Demonstrated success in scaling operations and managing high-volume plaintiff acquisition.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong client-facing experience, with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with law firms, external vendors, and partners.
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with and managing external vendors, with a strong focus on performance optimization and cost efficiency.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and data analytics tools to monitor intake performance and optimize acquisition processes.
  • Data-Driven: Proven ability to use data and predictive analytics to inform decisions, track acquisition metrics, and continuously improve intake operations.
  • Compliance Expertise: Understanding of HIPAA, TCPA, and other relevant regulations, with experience implementing compliance protocols within intake operations.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Strong leadership skills with experience in recruiting, training, and managing teams, particularly in high-growth or high-volume environments.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to resolving operational challenges, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.

This role requires a strategic, client-focused leader with a strong operational mindset and a proven track record in high-volume intake operations. If you are passionate about driving justice at scale and have a background in mass torts, we would love to hear from you!
